Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern consultations, custom design services, alterations, ready-to-wear purchases, and related services provided by Regalia Couture. By visiting our boutique, booking a consultation, or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Consultations

Consultations may be conducted in-store or through remote coordination where applicable. Customers are encouraged to book in advance through WhatsApp or phone so that sufficient time may be reserved with our designer. Walk-ins may be accommodated subject to availability, but we cannot guarantee immediate consultation slots without prior booking.

Consultations may include discussion of design direction, garment type, occasion, measurements, fabric selection, embroidery or handwork preferences, fit expectations, and indicative timelines. Any concepts, sketches, styling suggestions, or design inputs shared during the consultation remain part of our service process and do not by themselves constitute an order unless confirmed by both parties.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are undertaken only after the design scope, workmanship requirements, fabric or material choices, and expected delivery timeline are discussed and mutually agreed. Pricing for custom pieces depends on the overall design, materials used, extent of tailoring, and level of craftsmanship involved, including but not limited to handwork, embellishment, finishing, construction complexity, and fitting effort.

Because custom garments are made specifically for the customer, order details should be reviewed carefully before confirmation. Once a custom order is approved and work has commenced, changes to design, fabric, silhouette, sizing, embroidery, or finishing may not always be possible and, where accepted, may result in additional charges and revised delivery timelines.

Measurements & Fit

Accurate measurements are essential for custom work. Measurements taken by our team in-store will be used as the reference for production. Where measurements are shared remotely by the customer or through a third party, Regalia Couture cannot be responsible for fit issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete measurements provided to us.

Customers may be required to attend measurement sessions, trials, or fittings for custom garments. Delays in sharing measurements, approvals, or attending fittings may affect committed timelines.

Pricing & Quotations

Initial pricing shared during consultations or over messaging channels is indicative unless explicitly confirmed as final. Final pricing depends on the agreed design, materials, craftsmanship involved, and production effort required. Additional requests after confirmation, including extra detailing, fabric upgrades, lining changes, or structural modifications, may result in additional charges.

Payments

We accept UPI, major debit and credit cards, and cash payments at our boutique. Custom orders generally require an advance payment before fabric procurement, design work, or production begins. Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance must be cleared before final delivery, dispatch, or collection of the garment.

Materials procured, production slots reserved, and artisan time allocated for a confirmed custom order are treated as committed costs. Payments made toward confirmed custom work are generally non-refundable, except in cases where we are unable to proceed with the order for reasons solely attributable to us.

Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines for custom garments are estimates and are provided after the design and scope of work are finalized. Timelines vary based on the nature of the garment, fabric availability, intricacy of stitching, level of handwork or embellishment, number of fittings required, and overall production workload at the time of booking.

While we make every reasonable effort to meet indicated timelines, all delivery dates are best-effort estimates and not guaranteed deadlines unless explicitly committed in writing. Delays caused by design changes, delayed approvals, missed fittings, sourcing constraints, or circumstances beyond our control may lead to timeline revisions.

Customers with event-specific deadlines such as weddings or celebrations should communicate those timelines clearly during consultation and are advised to place orders well in advance.

Alterations

Minor alterations for garments made by Regalia Couture may be provided where reasonably required for fit correction, subject to garment design and condition. Major structural changes after completion may not always be possible and may incur additional charges.

Alterations for garments not originally produced by us may be accepted at our discretion. Charges will depend on the complexity of the work required. We are not responsible for issues arising from the original construction, fabric condition, or previous alterations on third-party garments.

Ready-to-Wear Purchases

Ready-to-wear or pre-designed pieces purchased from our boutique should be inspected at the time of purchase or collection. Exchange requests, where permitted, must be made within the timeline communicated at the time of purchase and only if the item is unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in original condition with tags intact. Cash refunds are not offered.

Cancellations & Returns

Custom-made garments, made-to-measure pieces, and altered items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable because they are produced specifically for the customer.

Cancellation of a custom order after confirmation may not be accepted once production has commenced. Where a cancellation is exceptionally approved, any refund will be subject to deduction of costs already incurred for materials, labor, and design work.

Product Representation

We strive to represent colors, fabrics, and design details as accurately as possible across the website and other communication channels. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, fabric dye lots, or the nature of handcrafted work.

Minor variations in embroidery, handwork, print placement, or finishing are inherent to artisanal production and should not be considered defects.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements, event timelines, contact details, and any specific design requirements. Customers should review order details carefully before confirming a custom order and promptly communicate any corrections or concerns.

Intellectual Property

All designs, sketches, photographs, written content, and branding materials displayed on this website belong to Regalia Couture and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Regalia Couture shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from consultation scheduling issues, customer-provided measurement errors, delays caused by external vendors or courier services, or changes requested after order confirmation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our services, policies, or legal requirements. The latest version published on this website will apply going forward.
